THIS WEBSITE'S MISSION STATEMENT : AWARENESS ! While doing our best to help everyone, world wide, to become aware of what is truly going on around them, we do not what to encourage any violence. ACTION IS NEEDED. However, it needs to be a peaceful and nonviolent action. The kind of action that will make a difference for all of us without giving the tyrants an excuse to enforce martial law and their own brand of violence. We provide information and awareness in the hopes of awakening all those who believe the propaganda told to them by the governments and corporate mainstream media. Just consider us an alternative news source. It is our wish that peaceful change is still possible but it will take all of us to do it. To help with that, we offer other alternative video's and links to extraordinary people like David Wilcock, Mary Gabrielle and others. With their help we can focus collectively on the very thoughts that can and will bring about the kind of changes we can all live with! The bottom line is tyranny is here. I know that this is happening in other parts of our planet, but I can truthfully say that The United States of America is now recognized world wide as one of the most oppressive police states on earth. There is no doubt that the Ruling Elite, (Powers That Be/ Illuminati), are aggressively pushing towards a global totalitarian world government by any and all means possible.Let's remember what Thomas Jefferson said," I hope we shall crush its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trail by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country." Well, the corporations laugh at our laws and have taken our governments. And now it's time for us to take them BACK !! ~ Xaniel777

Facebook privacy fears for 100m users as their personal details are published on file-sharing site
  • from Daily Mail Online
    By RACHEL QUIGLEY
Last updated at 11:04 AM on 29th July 2010

The privacy of millions of Facebook users has been jeopardised after some of their details were harvested and
     published on the internet.
An online security consultant who wished to highlight the social networking site's privacy issues published a
list of data taken from more than 100million users' profiles.

Ron Bowles used a piece of code to scan Facebook profiles, collecting data not hidden by the user's privacy
     settings.
The list has been shared as a downloadable file which has now spread rapidly across the internet, prompting
anger and concern from millions of users around the world.

The Bit Torrent list on Pirate Bay that contains the personal details of millions of Facebook users
    __________________________________________________________________________

The file has now spread rapidly across the net prompting anger and concern from millions of users all over the
    world.
On Pirate Bay, the world's biggest file-sharing website, the list was being distributed and downloaded by more
than 1,000 users, but it is believed it will be acessed by thousands more in a matter of days.
One Pirate Bay user, going by the name of lusifer69, described the list as 'awesome and a little terrifying'.

But Facebook said that the information was already freely available online.
In response to the latest privacy invasion they said: 'People who use Facebook own their information and
have the right to share only what they want, with whom they want, and when they want.
'In this case, information that people have agreed to make public was collected by a single researcher and
already exists in Google, Bing, other search engines, as well as on Facebook.
'No private data is available or has been compromised.'

Simon Davies, from the watchdog Privacy International, told BBC news that Facebook had been given ample
warning that something like this would happen.
He said: 'Facebook should have anticipated this attack and put measures in place to prevent it.
'It is inconceivable that a firm with hundreds of engineers couldn't have imagined a trawl of this magnitude and
there's an argument to be heard that Facebook have acted with negligence.
'It adds to the confusion which has long surrounded the privacy settings - people don't fully understand them
and this is the result,' he said.

Facebook, which now has 500 million users, hit the headlines earlier this year when they changed their privacy
     settings without consulting users.
There was a storm of protest over the complexity of the privacy settings and the fact that private and personal
information was readily available to anyone.

As a result, the site introduced simplified privacy controls.
Facebook has a default setting for privacy that makes some user information publicly available.
People have to make a conscious choice to opt-out of the defaults.
A spokesman for the firm said: 'It is similar to the white pages of the phone book, this is the information available
to enable people to find each other, which is the reason people join Facebook.

'If someone does not want to be found, we also offer a number of controls to enable people not to appear in
search on Facebook, in search engines, or share any information with applications.
But Mr Davies disagreed, saying the default settings should be changed.

'This highlights the argument for a higher level of privacy and proves the case for default nondisclosure,' he said.
'There are going to be a lot of angry and concerned people right now who will be wondering who has their data
     and what they should do.'
Mr Davies pointed out that more personal information, such as email addresses, phone numbers and postal
addresses, had not been included in the trawl.

How to protect your privacy on Facebook
Facebook has a default setting for privacy that makes some user information publicly available.
People have to make a conscious choice to opt-out of the default setting.
    To opt out:
    Go to the
'Account' tab at the top right of your Facebook profile page
Go into the Facebook privacy settings menu and change the
'Sharing on Facebook' options to 'Friends only'.
To keep your profiles from being found in search engines like Google click the
    'Edit your settings' link and
change the setting for 'Public Search.'

Nixon papers suggest israel stole nuclear material from US in 1965
  • from the truth will set you free
Surprise, surprise - another knife in the back from our 'closest ally in the Middle East."

In July 1969, while the world was spellbound by the Apollo 11 mission to the moon, President Richard M. Nixon and
his close advisers were quietly fretting about a possible nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Their main worry was
not a potential enemy of the United States, but one of America’s closest friends.

“The Israelis, who are one of the few peoples whose survival is genuinely threatened, are probably more likely than
almost any other country to actually use their nuclear weapons,” Henry A. Kissinger, the national security adviser,
warned President Nixon in a memorandum dated July 19, 1969.

Israel’s nuclear arms program was believed to have begun at least several years before, but it was causing special
fallout for the young Nixon administration. For one thing, President Nixon was getting ready for a visit by Prime
Minister Golda Meir of Israel, who was also in her first year in office and whose toughness was already legendary.

Should Washington insist that Israel rein in its development of nuclear weapons? What would the United States do
if Israel refused? Perhaps the solution lay in deliberate ambiguity, or simply pretending that America did not know
what Israel was up to. These were some of the options that Mr. Kissinger laid out for President Nixon on that day
before men first walked on the moon.

The Nixon White House’s concerns over Israel’s weapons were recalled in documents held by the Nixon Presidential
Library that were released today by the National Archives. They provide insights into America’s close, but by no
means problem-free, relationship with Israel. They also serve as a reminder that concerns over nuclear arms proliferation
in the Middle East, currently focused on Iran, are decades-old.

The papers also allude to a campaign by friends of W. Mark Felt, who was then the second-ranking F.B.I. official, to
have him succeed J. Edgar Hoover as director of the bureau in 1972. President Nixon, of course, did not take the advice,
choosing L. Patrick Gray instead, and Mr. Felt later became the famous anonymous source “Deep Throat,” whose
Watergate-scandal revelations helped to topple the president.

There are also snippets about Washington’s desire to manipulate relations with Saudi Arabia, so that the Saudis might
help to broker a peace in the Mideast; discussion of possibly supporting a Kurdish uprising in Iraq; and a 1970 incident
in which four Israeli fighters shot down four Russian Mig-21’s over eastern Egypt, even though the Israelis were
     outnumbered two-to-one in the battle.

But perhaps the most interesting material released today, and the most pertinent given the just-completed Mideast peace
conference in Annapolis, concerns Israel and its relations with its neighbors, as well as with the United States.

“There is circumstantial evidence that some fissionable material available for Israel’s weapons development was illegally
obtained from the United States about 1965,” Mr. Kissinger noted in his long memorandum.

One problem with trying to persuade Israel to freeze its nuclear program is that inspections would be useless, Mr. Kissinger
said, conceding that “we could never cover all conceivable Israeli hiding places.”

“This is one program on which the Israelis have persistently deceived us,” Mr. Kissinger said, “and may even have
    stolen from us.”

Israel has never officially acknowledged that it has nuclear weapons, but scientists and arms experts have almost no
doubt that it does. The United States’s reluctance to press Israel to disarm has made America vulnerable to accusations
that it is a preacher with a double standard when it comes to stopping the spread of weapons of mass destruction
    in the Middle East.

Mr. Kissinger’s memo, written barely two years after the Six-Day War and while memories of the Holocaust were still vivid
among the first Israelis, implicitly acknowledged Israel’s right to defend itself, as subsequent American administrations
    have done.

After President Nixon met Prime Minister Meir at the White House in late September 1969, he said: “The problems in the
Mideast go back centuries. They are not susceptible to easy solution. We do not expect them to be susceptible
     to instant diplomacy.”

    Bullsh@t.

As usual, the NYT puts its best zionist spin on the article, reminding readers of israel's so-called 'unconditional
     right to self-defense.'

But, what struck me most from the memo was that even back then the biggest dilemma Nixon faced concerning
whether or not to pressure israel to abandon its nuclear ambitions was governed by his FEAR of what the
Israel Lobby could do to him if he threatend to withhold something from them.

    THE DILEMMA WE FACE :

Our problem is that israel will not take us seriously on the nuclear issue unless they believe we are prepared to withhold
something they very much need -- the Phantom, or even more, their whole military supply relationship with us.

On the other hand, if we withhold the Phantoms and they make this fact public in the United States, enormous political
pressure will be mounted on us. We will be in an indefensible position if we cannot state why we are withholding the planes.
Yet if we explain our position publicly, we will be the ones to make Israel's possession of nuclear weapons public with
all the international consequences this entails.

    Read the memo (PDF) yourself.

I'm interested to see what the other documents hold. The NYT can't be trusted to reveal everything we need to know.

Statement from Leonard Peltier: Don't forget. Not ever.
  • from Derek Markham
    Greetings,
I want to first say thank you--thank you for taking the time and making the commitment to come to this
place--but thank you mostly for remembering. Sometimes I sit in this cage and I find myself wondering
if anyone really remembers. Many days, remembering is all my mind allows me to do. So, again, thank
you. Thank you for bearing witness and being a part of a living memory.

But maybe the most important thing I'd like to say is don't forget. Not ever.

You must be the historians who keep this lesson alive because this story isn't about one day, one
event, one person, or even one lifetime. This is a story that goes all the way back to the day a
misguided fool, whose name I won't even mention, led his troops in an attack on innocent people at
the Greasy Grass, and in the process got himself and over two hundred of his troopers killed. And while
the victors on that day had no choice but to defend themselves, we have been the victims of a genocidal
revenge that continues until this very moment. So don't forget. Not ever.

It is vengeance that preoccupies the mind of the colonizer. It is this fervor to show us who is boss that
led to the massacre at Wounded Knee, the theft of the Black Hills, the establishment of boarding
schools, and the criminalization of our languages and traditional ways. It is vengeance that armed the
GOON squads, killed our leaders, and surrounded our people at Wounded Knee again in 1973.
Revenge is why they today prosecute Indian people for the crimes they know the government
committed during their murderous campaigns of the last generation. Vengeance is what killed
Joe Stuntz, Anna Mae Aquash, Buddy Lamont and so many others. Getting even is what keeps me
in prison. So don't forget. Not ever.

All of these events are bound together, interrelated and interdependent. And quite clearly the lesson
they intend for us to learn is don't defend yourselves. Don't stand up for what is right. Don't think for
yourselves. Don't choose to be who you are. Don't remember your ancestors. Don't live in defense of
the Earth. Don't you do it! Don't even think about it. If you do, this government--this mindset of control
--will unleash an attack so vast it will even seek to destroy our genetic memories. So don't forget. Not ever.

In days past, some among our people were induced to become "scouts". For whatever reasons,
these individuals made possible the treacherous campaigns that resulted in the deaths of countless
innocent people. These days--sadly--there are still these types amongst us. The government preys on
the weaknesses of these people, inducing them to turn against the rest of us. The government uses this
treachery to cover up state sanctioned murder and terrorism. They do this and then tell us that what we
remember didn't really happen at all, as though memory or truth is something to be shaped and molded
to fit a preconceived outcome. So don't forget. Not ever.

We gather today after decades and generations of blood and trauma. We gather in defiance.

    And we remember.

We remember not just one day or one event, because remembering what occurred on June 25 or
June 26--or any particular date--is important, but not as important as an understanding of the
ongoing campaign of colonization. This is a continuing human drama of slaughter and uncontrollable
bloodlust and we're still here, engaged in our running defense; praying for balance, peace and justice; and
trying to make some sense of it all. Perhaps, in the face of such a menace, the most important thing we can
do is remember. So teach your children. Pass this knowledge. Don't forget. Not ever.

Remembering is resisting and, if we remember, then we'll be free one day. Free of their mindset. Free of
their theft. Free of their guns and their bombs. Free of their cages. Free to be who we are.

And free of their fear. That's the truest freedom of all and true freedom is what this is really all about,
not the illusion of freedom they offer us.

    So don't forget. Not ever.

In the Spirit of Crazy Horse,

    Leonard Peltier

The Serious Tracking of Americans Begins !!
  • from The Liberty Voice ~ Know Truth. Know Power.

Written on July 17, 2010 at 8:19 pm by Andrew McCleese

They have passed the health bill, they have passed the financial regulations bill and they have snuck stuff into the stimulus
package bills. They are going to track your money and your body. Here’s the first few things they are doing. This is step one.
It will only get worse from here.

    According numismaster.com:

…the Health Care Bill mandates, according to Numismaster.com, Starting on January 1st in 2012, S federal law will require coin
and bullion dealers to report to the Internal Revenue Service all gold and silver coin purchases and sales greater than $600.
No that is not an error, they tacked the gold coin tracking regulations into the health bill. They are just tacking stuff on
    wherever they can.

As for your body, you will be required to have an “electronic health record”, by 2014. They snuck this into one of the
“stimulus” bills. The electronic record will include an obesity rating. The information will be required to be on a
“national exchange” with only secure access (Hah!). Why the F does your obesity rating have to be on a national exchange?
This is a tip off to how micro-managed they are going to attempt to run your life.

Keep in mind that the health bill and financial “reform” bill are thousands of pages, with much of the details left up to the new
agencies to fill in. Obama is appointing major league interventionists to head these agencies. They are completely clueless as
to how an economy works. Their regs will be over the top. It will stifle America in so many ways, it is difficult to imagine.
I was in East Berlin the year before the Wall came down. I saw what constant monitoring and micro-management did to people.
It is not pretty. The gray, the drab, the despair was everywhere. When you can only take orders and wait for approvals and are
constantly watched, it saps the life out of you. America is going to be changing and the government is going to try and watch
you and monitor your vitals, as if you were a lab rat, as it does the changing.

It is not going to be pretty.

(Thanks to John Perez for the gold coin info.)

Leading Chinese Economists Urge Government To Dump U.S. Treasuries, Buy Gold
  • from Prison Planet.com
Fears reemerge that China could resort to “nuclear option”

    Steve Watson
    Prisonplanet.com
    Monday, Jul 19th, 2010

Prominent economists in China are calling for their government to ditch vast holdings of U.S. Treasuries in favour of
tangible assets such as gold, a move that would have a far reaching impact on the economy.
Reuters reports that Yu Yongding, a former academic adviser to the Chinese central bank has appealed to state
representatives to move away from U.S. debt and invest in assets denominated in other currencies, as well as other
     financial instruments and real goods.

“Although assets in other currencies and forms are not an ideal replacement for U.S. Treasury bonds, diversification
should be a basic principle,” Yu wrote in the China Securities Journal.
“When demand for U.S. Treasury securities is strong, it’s a rare opportunity for us to gradually pull back. That way,
it will not have a big impact on prices and China will not suffer too much,” he said.

Another influential financial expert, Zhang Monan, of the powerful think tank The State Information Center, also
commented to the journal that China should replace increasing amounts of its foreign exchange reserves with
     hard assets such as gold.
The move could send gold prices back toward record highs following a recent slide.

China holds the world’s largest stockpile of reserves, worth some $2.5 trillion.
China cut its U.S. treasury holdings by $32.5 billion in May, yet it still holds $867.7 billion, making it the largest
holder of U.S. government debt in the world.

In the past China has repeatedly threatened to use the so called “nuclear option” and liquidate its vast holding of
US treasuries in response to continued pressure on the Communist state to force a yuan revaluation. Such an
event could trigger a dollar crash which would now have disastrous consequences for an American economy
    mired in recession.

Such an eventuality could lead to runaway inflation, making the cost of living unaffordable to even middle class
    Americans as food prices skyrocket.
Further reports have suggested that Senior Chinese military officers have proposed selling U.S. bonds en mass
as a way of “punishing” Washington.

China’s central bank has also previously supported calls for a new supra-national global currency to replace the
dollar, and earlier this year strongly signaled that the country will move away from pegging its currency to the dollar.
                                                                                   ~~ END ~~

The American People are Under Occupation !
  • from The Sabbah Report

    Guest Post :
    By Johnny Punish

The US Government is Occupied by an Elite Global Force that No Longer has the Interests of the American people. Will Americans Revolt
     and Take Back the Country?

Obama is NOT a Mahatma Gandhi Savior. Is the USA now the land of Marginalized Mediocrity?

In response to yesterday's worldwide condemnation of the Gaza Flotilla Massacre, our US government has decided NOT to stand for justice
and has again chosen a path outlined and led by a Global Elite Force that is willing to put the interests of their agenda far ahead of interests
of the American people and even the lives of American servicemen and women.

So far and blatant is their arrogance and contempt for our people, that when it's clear that an injustice is at play, they continue on as if nothing
has happened and ignore it until the next news cycle sending us their PR reps to hit the mainstream media to soft land us back into our
     hypnotic political stuper.

The gambit has worked in the past because the American public was desensitized to the plight of oppressed peoples vis-a-vie its' propaganda
media machine that delivers intentional sound bites demonizing real people when convenient instead of delivering hard facts and truths
     to it's public.

But is this Lack of Empathy Dynamic Changing?

U.S. Military Lives Lost Directly Related to Israeli Occupation:

By not standing for justice, the current administration confirms what the world already knows and what the American public is starting to find
out in that the USA is under occupation.

The interests of everyday Americans are being trumped by the interests of the Global Elite Force that many call Zionism.

But something at home in America is NOT sitting well…

With our children's education being cut back and our loss of international respect and admiration around world from our nostalgic look back
at our "greatest generation" who fought in World War II as if we are no longer a great society but a shell of our once great self, it is starting to
hit home with us that maybe something is not right with the USA. Maybe we are on the wrong side of justice and we've become the engine
of evil that we once fought against!

Will History Punish us for this "Greed Before Justice" Disposition?

In my view, during World War II, we stood for something and the world admired our grit, heart, and do-good righteous effort. It was grandly
rewarded for many years with amazing worldwide admiration and respect. People wanted to be in America. They wanted to be Americans!
But now, we stand for nothing!

The world continues to watch us as the leadership train leaves the station while we gorge on our media manipulated ego-centric narci-cystic
     selves.

And thus, without thought and care, our ability to influence is fading faster than speeding bullet through the heart of real live empathic protester
who's leading the charge to expose injustice in land where food, water, and medical supplies are used in our name as punishment to oppress
     and control.

But why is "Devolution of Greatness" happening to us?
Why can't "We the People" stand for justice once again?
Was not "Justice" and "Pursuit of Good" our once proud ideal?
For those partisans who blame one party or the other, I got some bad news for all of you. It does NOT matter who's in power because they are
both beholden to the same masters. The Global Elite Force are running the show at Foggy Bottom and the losers are everyday people like you
and me, not only in the USA but around the world.

We used to stand for justice for all people because we were once a moral group with a general sense of do-good in our hearts. Generally,
speaking, I still believe the people of America have this value central to it's heart but it's being beaten out of us and thwarted by a Global
Elite Force that is using us and then slapping us in the face while we stand there and stare like deer in the headlights.

It's become so blatant that we are just in a daze at their arrogance and feel helpless as we watch our dignity sold to the highest bidder.
We are being conned by the greatest. We're dazed and confused!

So for those of us who are disappointed in Bush or even Obama, did you really expect them to be Gandhi?

I actually believe Obama is a good man who, if he could within his disposition, would do something great. But alas, he's a politician first and
a leader second. He's no Gandhi! So let's stop expecting him to be a savior. Its' not going to happen.

I mean, he did speak of non-violent protest and encouraged it. And so when the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza came as a protest against oppression
and were swash buckled on the high seas by an attacking state ending in a massacre, what did he do? Nothing! No amazing Gandhi moment
here folks! He and his group are paralyzed! Why? Because our government is under occupation!

    Americans are Living Under Occupation!

Obama is NOT a savior who is going to fight against his masters. For me, it's a missed opportunity for greatness but for him, he's probably
looking at in a practical pragmatic logical way that his party power is more important than the chance to achieve something more lasting and
great that would lift up the human spirit worldwide and put him in up there with the greatest leaders of all time. Nope, sadly for all of us,
he's just another guy in a political suit paying his respects to the monied elite. It's no reason to hate him as a person but only to put it all
in perspective so that our anger is pointed in the right direction.

Anyway, the point is that the USA is on path to mediocrity as it continues to be marginlized.

Without standing for something like justice for all men, we stand for nothing and thus, in the 21st Century, we will continue to marginalize
ourselves into just another country with no specific ideology except get your piece before it's too late. Is that what we want in America?

Our greatest generation defined us….but that's history now and the American people can take pride for that time when we were a special
place, a country that once was…. but now, our path is spoken for us and we are just here riding that old wave until it flickers away into the
     sands of time.

Are you Mad and Angry? Can We Change What Appears to be this Inevitable Path to Marginalized Mediocrity?

Well, answer these 2 very important questions:

Are we, the American people, willing to revolt against our Zionist Occupied Government in Washington and put in a government that is fighting
     for our interests?
Are you ready to takeover and throw everyone out of power who sells out to foreign interests and tell anyone else we put in that if they sell us
out again, they will be dragged from the halls of power and hung by their feet in public shamed forever as a traitor to the people of the
     United States of America?
    Time will tell…

Repubs Plot Israel-Iran Apocalypse and the Collapse of the US Economy
  • from Information Clearing House

    By Juan Cole

July 24, 2010 "Information Clearing House" -- The move is reminiscent of the 1998 letter the Project for a New
American Century signatories sent to President Clinton, putting pressure on him to initiate war on Iraq. They
did maneuver him into pulling out UN weapons inspectors and bombing Iraq. The US removal of the inspectors
made the West blind as to the lack of Iraqi weapons programs, since their absence could no longer be certified
. In turn, Iraq’s opaqueness as a result of the Clinton actions allowed the Bill Kristol crowd and the rest of the
Israel, war industry and oil lobbies to propagandize America into the fruitless and ruinous Iraq War. Now they
are repeating this pattern with regard to Iran.

Think about how weird it is. Nearly half of Republicans in the House are from the South, which has relatively few
Jewish Americans. So this resolution is likely emanating from the Christian Zionists like John Hagee (who once
said that God sent Hitler to punish the Jews for being outside Israel). It is not impossible that the people behind
this resolution are fervently hoping for the Judgment Day to come more quickly and look forward to a Middle East
apocalypse as a step toward the Return of Christ and the end of that pesky but temporarily necessary Judaism.
In other words, for these right wing Americans to call for Israel to go to war on behalf of America is just one more
case of white Christians sacrificing Jews for their own interests and is a form of anti-Semitism.

The likely outcome of an Israeli military strike on Iran s as follows:

    * Iran will use Shiite operatives and militiamen to kill the increasingly vulnerable remaining US troops in Iraq (once
there are less than 50,000 non-combat troops in that country, they are not troops, they are hostages).

    * Iran will stir up its substantial number of clients in Afghanistan to hit the United States, widening the insurgency
from mainly Pashtun Taliban to include fundamentalist Tajiks and Hazaras. The US will remain mired in that war,
perhaps for decades, as a result.

    * Iran will probably bide its time and act in covert and hard to trace ways against US interests in the region. There
could be more operations like the Khobar Towers bombing of US troops in Saudi Arabia or the 1983 attack on a
Marine barracks in Beirut. All US commercial and government offices in the region would become targets.

    * A fair likelihood exists that Hizbullah would do something to Israel in revenge, possibly provoking another
Israel-Lebanon War. The last war did not go well for Israel, despite its massive military superiority. A fourth of
Israelis were forced to move house, chemical gas facilities in Haifa were threatened (and the Dimona Nuclear plant
that makes all those Israeli nuclear warheads could be), and Hizbullah had broken Israeli radio encryption and
knew all the Israeli army plans beforehand.

    * Not only would the democratically inclined opposition movement in Iran evaporate, but Muslim fundamentalists
in Egypt, Jordan and other US allies would mobilize and perhaps gain in popularity out of anti-imperial solidarity.
(Only 6% of ordinary Arabs is worried about an Iranian nuclear bomb, whereas almost all are disturbed by Israel’s
     treatment of the Palestinians).

    * The price of oil would spike, likely to 2008 highs of $140 a barrel, throwing the world back into Depression.

    * Once such hostilities began, and given these likely responses, the US could well get sucked into a third major
Middle East war, against a country geographically much bigger than either Iraq or Afghanistan, and more than twice
as populous as each of them. At another $1 trillion, that cost would push the US into $14 trillion in indebtedness all
by itself, and since that is American annual gross domestic product, it could trigger a downgrading of American
credit, making the interest servicing on existing and future loans far more expensive and, along with crippling high
oil prices, beginning America’s final spiral down into poverty and weakness.

Welcome Guardians of the Free Republics !
  • from The Meetup Group.
Today is full of excitement and hope as we actively restore and re-inhabit the American Republics under the Constitution for the united States of America, c. 1787, and peacefully dismantle the 150 year reign of slavery and terror of the UNITED STATES FEDERAL CORPORATION.

The unanimous Declaration of the sovereign People of the united States of America to restore and reinhabit the free American republics has now been submitted to the 50 state governors, which has returned our Republics to the People.

The Restore America Plan is a bold achievable strategy, supported by high ranking members of the U.S. armed forces, for behind-the-scenes peaceful reconstruction of the de jure institutions of Constitutional government in the united States of America without controversy, violence or civil war.

Effective immediately, the current 13th through 27th Amendments do NOT exist, as the de jure (original) Constitution has been restored to its state as of December 1860. This is not to imply that some of the currrent Amendments 13-27 are not worthy, it just means that they were passed under the unlawful government of the UNITED STATES FEDERAL CORPORATION. Therefore, all of these Amendments need to be re-introduced, reconsidered and re-passed to once again become effective.

The Guardians of the Free Republics believe in the unalienable rights for all people, regardless of their sex or color of their skin, and subsequently, equal protection under Common Law. The Guardian Elders, who wrote the Declaration and created the Restore America Plan with the support of the military and the Supreme Court, are in the process of assembling the Guardians to re-inhabit the De jure Grand Juries of all 50 free republics.

Join the Hawaii Guardians to learn how this is being done, how you can become a Grand Juror in the Hawaii Republic and how you can break free of the bondage that was imposed upon you at birth without your knowledge or consent. Restore your sovereignty and enjoy true freedom, eliminate debt and realize unbridled opportunity and hope like you’ve never known before.

UN endorses Israel’s siege of Gaza !!
  • from South Lebanon
    JNOUBIYEH | 8:33 PM
    Jordan Times, 28 July 2010

    By Hasan Abu Nimah

Recently, the United Nations broke its silence on the siege of Gaza which is about to enter its fourth year, not to denounce
it or speak up against it, but, shockingly, to endorse it.

Martin Nesirky, spokesman for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon announced that aid bound for Gaza must be delivered
over land through Israeli-approved routes. Said Nesirky: "There are established routes for supplies to enter by land. That
is the way aid should be delivered to the people of Gaza. Our stated preference has been and remains that aid should be
delivered by established routes particularly at a sensitive time in indirect proximity talks between Palestinians and Israelis."

According to news reports, this ill-advised UN statement was prompted by a letter from Gabriella Shalev, the Israeli
ambassador to the UN, to the Security Council and to the UN secretary general, warning that "Israel reserves its right
under international law to prevent these ships [referring to two Lebanese ships on their way to Gaza] from violating
    the naval blockade".

Neither the Security Council nor the secretary general had the nerve to question Israel's right to lay blockade to a
third-party territory or to demand that Israel reveal the international law provisions on which its action it rests.

The blockade is illegal under international law, as the International Committee of the Red Cross recently confirmed.
The entity that continues to impose the blockade, Israel, has no right to maintain an unprecedented measure of collective
punishment on innocent civilians besieged in the largest ever open-air prison. Yet Israel acts on its own, in flagrant
defiance of any rules that govern international behaviour.

The 1.5 million inhabitants of the narrow Gaza Strip are not allowed to leave their prison. They are not allowed to import
their needs except in quantities that just prevent starvation. Neither are they permitted to export any of their agricultural
products to external markets to keep them at a bare survival level.

The population of Gaza has to suffer. It has to feel the callousness of the punishment in its daily routine. It has been under
this severe regime of chastisement for over five years for multiple reasons.

First and foremost, it is responsible for creating an environment unsuitable for a smooth colonisation by Israeli settlers.
Israel started its colonisation scheme shortly after it occupied Gaza and the West Bank (in addition to the other Arab
territories in its "preemptive" war in June 1967). Unlike in the West Bank and in the Syrian Golan Heights, Gaza did not
prove to be an easy environment for territorial expansion. Despite intensive Israeli occupation army presence in the strip,
the protection of 8,000?settlers proved costly, dangerous and untenable.

In the spring of 2004, Ariel Sharon, Israeli prime minister at the time, decided to "disengage" from Gaza by removing both
the occupation army and the settlers. The plan was implemented in August 2005. Although Sharon’s plan was presented
as a gesture for peace, and was unduly rewarded by the United States which granted him a written promise in April 2004
that the West Bank settlements were to be considered irreversible facts on the ground in any future peace agreement,
an additional 12,000 settlers were a?ded to the West Bank settlements.

The settlers were indeed removed from Gaza, but it will be a flagrant denial of the truth to talk about an "end" of the Israeli
occupation. The Israeli army has continued, since August 2005, to control Gaza from land, sea and sky, only allowing
minimum survival level of commodities to reach the besieged population. From September 2005, Israel bombed Gaza
frequently, killing hundreds of civilians, regular attacks that culminated in the massacre during "Operation Cast Lead".

There are three other alleged reasons for keeping the siege, actually tightening it. One was the Palestinian general elections
in January 2006, which swept Hamas into power. The second was the capture of an Israeli soldier enforcing the blockade
on Gaza on June 25, 2006, in a military operation by the resistance. The third were the rockets fired by Hamas and other
resistance factions, often mocked as "futile" fireworks.

Israel has been using those pretexts as "legal" justification for keeping Gaza under siege; in the naive "international community"
belief, the siege would end if the Israeli prisoner of war were released. That is not true. Gaza cannot be set free as long as there
is another occupation in the West Bank. Keeping Gaza under control is a "security necessity" to prevent any form of effective
resistance from growing in that area.

By endorsing Israeli action to block the maritime routes to Gaza, the UN now openly collaborates with Israel and the other regional
forces that helped maintain the siege. The UN is effectively helping Israel carry out the collective punishment of civilians in Gaza,
in direct violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

It, of course, has no right to determine which routes any country may choose to bring in supplies. In short, the UN is breaking
the law, betraying its mandate and violating the provisions of its own charter, in addition, of course, to demonstrating utter
     weakness and submissiveness.

More shocking is the feeble attempt to link the restriction of the Gaza supply routes to land access with the US-sponsored
"proximity talks", as if they existed or had any value, as if they were more than a scandalous farce.

The rights of the Palestinian people under the Fourth Geneva Convention are not conditional on the existence of "proximity talks"
or any other kind of "peace process".

It is shameful for the UN to descend to such a low level of meekness at a time when world peace and stability are suffering from
creeping dangers. The threats and the dire conditions of world affairs require, on the contrary, an activation of a sadly dormant
UN role, and not the UN joining the chorus of complicity

One should remember, however, that the UN constitutes one quarter of the self-appointed Quartet, which is a major sponsor
of the Gaza siege and the proximity talks show. Thus, one should really not be shocked that the UN is now helping Israel
enforce the Gaza blockade and prolong, rather than end, the suffering there.

Obama's Broken Tax Pledge !

Americans for Tax Reform, Gibbs Misleads Public on Obama’s Broken Tax Pledge:

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs seems to have forgotten that his boss has already broken his central campaign
promise – a “firm pledge” that “no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your
income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

Responding to a question during his daily press briefing today, Gibbs said, “The President believes raising taxes on
the middle class during this economic time would not make a lot of economic sense.”

But President Obama has already broken his “firm pledge” at least eight times:

    *  156% Federal Tobacco Tax Hike (took effect April 1, 2009)

    * 10% Tax on Indoor Tanning Services (took effect July 1, 2010)

    * The “Medicine Cabinet Tax” (takes effect Jan. 1, 2011)

    * The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike (from 10% to 20%) (takes effect Jan. 1, 2011)

    * The“Special Needs Kids Tax” ($2,500 cap on FSAs) (takes effect Jan. 1, 2013)

    * The Obamacare Medical Prosthetics and Devices Tax (takes effect in Jan. 1, 2013)

    * The Medical Itemized Deductions Cap (from 7.5% to 10%) (takes effect Jan. 1, 2013)

    * The Obamacare Individual Mandate Excise Tax (up to $2,085 or 2.5% of AGI) (takes effect Jan. 1, 2014)

5 Biggest Revelations of Wikileaks Documents !
  • from The Atlantic Wire

By MAX FISHER on July 26, 2010 9:34am

Six years' worth of secret U.S. documents relating to the war in Afghanistan have been released by Wikileaks, an
Iceland-based website that collects and distributes such information. Some news organizations were given the tens
of thousands of documents several weeks early so that they could sift through the files and prepare their coverage.
The revelations are sure to spark wide debate about the U.S. role in Afghanistan and the nature of the ongoing war.

Here are what currently appear to be the five biggest things we've learned so far.

    * Pakistani Intelligence Possibly Aiding Taliban The New York Times reports, "Americans fighting the war in
Afghanistan have long harbored strong suspicions that Pakistan’s military spy service has guided the Afghan
insurgency with a hidden hand, even as Pakistan receives more than $1 billion a year from Washington for its
help combating the militants, according to a trove of secret military field reports made public Sunday." The
Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is said to be involved in "a network of Pakistani assets and collaborators
that runs from the Pakistani tribal belt along the Afghan border, through southern Afghanistan, and all the way to
the capital, Kabul." This network may be working "with the Taliban in secret strategy sessions to organize networks
of militant groups that fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan, and even hatch plots to assassinate
Afghan leaders." [Is Pakistan's spy service finally on our side?]

    * Drones Less Effective Than Claimed Der Spiegel reports, "the secret memos reveal the drawbacks of a weapon that
has been lauded by the US military as a panacea, a view shared by the president. In his short time in office,
Barack Obama has unleashed double the number of drone missions ordered by his seemingly trigger-happy
predecessor, George W. Bush. ... But they are not always reliable. According to official reports, 38 Predator and
Reaper drones have crashed while on combat missions in both Afghanistan and Iraq. ... each drone crash necessitates
elaborate -- and dangerous -- salvage operations." [Should spy drones be used against the oil spill?]

    * 30 Years Later, Taliban Still Have Stingers During the anti-Soviet Afghan War of the 1980s, the U.S. helped the
Afghan insurgents secure stinger missiles. After the Soviet military withdrew and during the civil war of the 1990s,
which is when the Taliban first emerged, the U.S. attempted to recover all of the missiles. But the New York Times
reports, "The Taliban have used portable heat-seeking missiles against allied aircraft, a fact that has not been
publicly disclosed by the military. This type of weapon helped the Afghan mujahedeen defeat the Soviet occupation
in the 1980s." [Why Pakistan blocked Facebook and Youtube.]

    * U.S. and Afghan Officials Covering Up Civilian Deaths The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder finds "at least 144 separate
incidents" of civilian casualties "and subsequent cover-ups." He writes, "The failed special forces attempt to kill
Abu Layth Ali Libi, which resulted in the deaths of civilians, suggests the willingness of some provisional governors
to collude with the official storyline. ... There is a reference to a CIA paramilitary operative shooting at 30 yards a
blind woman, something that was duly reported back to headquarters."

    * Bin Laden Match-Making for Insurgents The Guardian reports, "Insurgent reportedly given Arab wife by Bin Laden
for his explosive exploits." The original military report reads, "So-called ABDULLAH is the brother of Kari
NAJIMULLAH and is married to an Arab. His wife was a present by Osama BIN LADEN because ABDULLAH
is an infamous specialist for RC IEDs." That last term means radio-controlled improvised explosive devices.

Federal Government Working to Remove Sovereignty of States !!
  • from Activist Post

    Sunday, July 25, 2010
Posted by Activist at 6:02 AM

It has been reported that 46 states are on the verge of bankruptcy. Since states are Constitutionally mandated to
balance their budgets, and do not possess the ability to print money, they're finding themselves in a critically
weakened position to challenge the Federal Government.

In our republic, states have sovereignty to create and enforce their own laws as long as they don't violate the U.S.
Constitution. The Tenth Amendment gives states the freedom from Federal laws and regulations if they deem
     them to be unconstitutional.

The Tenth Amendment: which makes explicit the idea that the Federal government is limited only to the powers
granted in the Constitution, is generally recognized to be a truism. States and local governments have occasionally
attempted to assert exemption from various federal regulations, especially in the areas of labor and environmental
controls, using the Tenth Amendment as a basis for their claim.

    An oft-repeated quote, from United States v. Darby, 312 U.S. 100, 124 (1941), reads as follows:
The amendment states but a truism that all is retained which has not been surrendered. There is nothing in the
history of its adoption to suggest that it was more than declaratory of the relationship between the national and
state governments as it had been established by the Constitution before the amendment or that its purpose was
other than to allay fears that the new national government might seek to exercise powers not granted, and that
the states might not be able to exercise fully their reserved powers...(Source)
Recently, it seems the Federal government is overstepping their authority and infringing on the sovereignty of
states. Furthermore, given that many broke states will most certainly require a Federal bailout to maintain their basic
social structures, we can assume that the Feds will use that to impose even stronger controls.

The Federal government has clearly violated California state law regarding medical marijuana by raiding
state-approved legal dispensaries and grow-ops. And now, Obama and company are suing Arizona to overturn
their new anti-illegal immigration law, which is essentially a reiteration of the Federal law, just with plans to
     actually prosecute it.

Additionally, we have seen the steady erosion of the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the use of the
military for local law enforcement. Stories of active military and the National Guard helping local law
enforcement on operations as routine as random traffic checkpoints and local crimes such as illegal gun
and drug searches are becoming everyday news -- again a clear violation of the Tenth Amendment.

It is clear that the goal of Federal government is to centralize and consolidate control as much as possible.
Liberty advocates have a growing concern that states teetering on the verge of bankruptcy will require
Federal bailouts that will come with sovereignty-smashing strings attached. Based on the clear violations
already exhibited by the Federal government, we can only assume that more centralized oppression
    is on the way.

The Right To Nullify This Government
  • from Human Events

    by Thomas E. Woods, Jr.
    07/13/2010

Every couple of years the same drearily predictable charade repeats itself. This time we’re really going to limit government!
Or so they tell us. We on the Right then dutifully compose our letters to the editor, attend rallies, and vote for candidates
without whom, we are breathlessly assured, we shall all revert instantly to barbarism. And no matter who wins, the federal
government grows and grows. The Right gets a bunch of pretty speeches, and the Left gets the victories.

The passive approach of crossing our fingers and hoping Washington will follow the Constitution has not worked. The
only surprising thing about it is that anyone could have expected it to work in the first place. It is long past time for those
of us who want to confine the federal government to its constitutional limits to try something different.

The time has come to revisit nullification, the quintessentially American mode of resistance against federal lawlessness
that Thomas Jefferson urged as an essential ingredient of our political system. In the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798,
Jefferson insisted that the states needed a way to defend themselves against unconstitutional exercises of power by the
federal government. Jefferson’s fear was that if the federal government had a monopoly on defining the scope of its own
powers, it would be constantly discovering new ones. Likewise, James Madison urged in the Virginia Resolutions of 1798
that the states were “duty bound to resist” when the federal government violated the Constitution. (The reader will not be
surprised to learn that Bill Clinton held no White House soiree in honor of the two hundredth anniversary
    of these documents in 1998.)

These principles were used for honorable purposes throughout antebellum American history. Virginia and Kentucky used
them on behalf of free speech. The New England states employed them against unconstitutional searches and seizures.
Numerous northern states used them against fugitive slave laws, provisions of which they considered unconstitutional
notwithstanding the Constitution’s fugitive-slave clause. More than six decades after Jefferson penned the immortal
words of the Kentucky Resolutions, the legislature of Wisconsin quoted them word for word in defense of its defiance
    of such laws.

Do American schoolchildren read about any of this? The question answers itself. They are about as likely to read that I,
Tom Woods, am the king of England.

But all of a sudden, out of the clear blue, nullification is back. Fiscal conservatives and civil libertarians joined hands in 2005
to oppose the REAL ID Act, which involved the centralization and standardization of identification procedures. They had
no idea how successful they would be. Two dozen states pledged to defy the law. Stung by this degree of resistance,
the federal government gave up trying to enforce the Act.

Now, states are banding together to devise resistance measures against Obamacare, cap and trade, and a whole raft of
constitutionally offensive legislation. Several states have already instituted Firearms Freedom Acts, which pledge the
state to prevent the enforcement of federal gun regulations when the guns in question have never entered interstate
commerce. (Color me skeptical that the recent Supreme Court decision means Americans’ Second Amendment
    rights are safe forever.)

So far, most conservative radio and television hosts have shied away from the issue. That’s a shame, to be sure, but it
doesn’t change much. The Tea Party folks are going to nullify with or without them. Within six months these same media
personalities will be huffing and puffing to catch up with what has been going on right under their noses.

But you, dear reader, ought to get in on the ground floor. The Tenth Amendment Center, for example, is sponsoring a tour
of America called Nullify Now! (NullifyNow.com), which will bring these important ideas to major American cities and
force them back into the American political discussion where they belong. My new book, Nullification: How to Resist
Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century, gives you all the ammunition you need to understand and defend nullification as
an essential defense mechanism for a free people.

And my “Interview with a Zombie” YouTube video shows you how the mainstream media will handle the issue,
    and how we should respond.

The rebirth of nullification is not welcome news to everyone. MSNBC and the New York Times do not want us to say or do
these things. They like the situation just the way it is: we make lots of noise, and they rack up the victories. They are happy
if we persist in the same failed and flawed strategy that has gotten us exactly nowhere. I for one would prefer not
    to give them the satisfaction.

It’s fine to hold conferences, write letters to the editor, and sign petitions. But at some point it becomes morally (and practically)
necessary to do more than just wring our hands about the behavior of the federal government. At some point we in our states
must say: we are not going to do it. Never did I suspect that the American people would grow angry and politically aware
enough to put these great principles back on the table. Ideas I once covered as a historian I am now discussing as a
commentator on current events. This is the healthiest development in American politics I have seen in my life. Everyone reading
these words owes it to the cause of freedom to be a part of it. We have been played for fools long enough.

Majority of Americans lack faith in Obama: poll
  • from REUTERS.com
    WASHINGTON | Tue Jul 13, 2010 6:21am EDT
(Reporting by JoAnne Allen; editing by Eric Beech)

(Reuters) - Nearly 60 percent of American voters say they lack faith in President Barack Obama, according to a public
     opinion poll published on Tuesday.

The results of the Washington Post/ABC News poll are a reversal of what voters said at the start of Obama's
presidency 18 months ago when about 60 percent expressed confidence in his decision making.

Confidence in Obama is at a new low but the poll found that his numbers are still higher than lawmakers of either
major party four months ahead of the November congressional elections.

Asked how much confidence they have in Obama to make the right decisions for the country's future, 58 percent
of respondents said "just some" or "none."

Sixty-eight percent expressed the same sentiments about Democrats in Congress and 72 percent said the same
    of Republicans.

The Post said problems in the housing industry, sluggish job growth and other economic issues may have
taken a toll on Obama's approval rating.

Just 43 percent of all Americans, including a third of Democrats, now say they approve of the job Obama is doing
on the economy, while 54 percent disapprove.

The survey also found wide anti-incumbent sentiment with 62 percent of voters saying they were not inclined to
     support their current representative.

All 435 seats in the House of Representatives are up for grabs in the November 2 election as well
as 36 of the 100 Senate seats.

Democrats now control both houses of Congress, but a slight majority of those polled said they would prefer to
have Republicans in control to serve as a check on Obama's policies.

The poll of 1,288 people was conducted July 7-11 and has a margin of sampling error of plus or
    minus 3.5 percentage points.

Report: Israel convinces Obama to plan for Iran strike !
  • from Prison Planet.com

{ Our children ! Fighting and dying for a war
not their own, to further the agenda of people
who could care less about them !! } ~~~ Xaniel777

    Israel Today
    July 19, 2010

According to a report in Time magazine Israel has managed to convince Washington to put the option of a military strike
against Iran’s nuclear facilities back on the table.

Israel has long argued that all of the international sanctions against Iran are pointless unless Western powers are prepared
to back them up with the threat of force.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been pressing that point since US President Barack Obama pushed through a new
package of sanctions at the UN Security Council last month.

In the past few weeks, Time reported that US Central Command has been devising a thorough plan of targeted air strikes on
Iran’s nuclear facilities. The article claimed that Israel has been brought into that planning process.

Israel is also reportedly still revising its own independent plan of attack, should a solo mission against
     Iran become necessary.

ADDED COMMENT from Mike Rivero ~ WRH.com :

" I want you all to remember this story. I want you to remember this story because it illustrates how the US (and other)
governments have been subverted by Israel. I want you to remember this story because it illustrates how Israel always
gets other nations to spend their treasure and their blood in wars on Israel's enemies. I want you to remember this story
because when the attack on Iran triggers WW3, I want those who survive to look up from the rubble that used to be
their lives and remember very clearly just who it was that started all this insanity!"

Public Anger and Distrust of Business and Government !
  • from Uruknet.info
    By Stephen Lendman
    July 20, 2010

An April 2010 Pew Research Center (PRC) for the People & Press study and others report growing public
anger, distrust, and hostility toward business and government because of a "perfect storm of conditions"
    - wrecked economies, fueling "epic discontent" toward responsible officials.

PRC found nearly 80% of Americans don't trust government to do the right thing, the highest distrust level
in half a century, this writer's April 28 article, titled "Growing Public Anger in America," discussing its
findings, accessed through the following link:
    http://sjlendman.blogspot.com/2010/04/growing-public-anger-i n-america.html

People want help when they most need it, but aren't getting it, privilege always trumping the public interest,
getting more extreme in America, Canada, and throughout Europe, a prescription for greater outrage,
     perhaps fury for beneficial change.

It bears watching as the deepening global depression plays out, throwing millions more to the wolves,
abandoned by fiscal harshness, governments protecting business, not their people.

On December 9, 2005, in better times, New York Times writer Claudia Deutsch headlined, "New Surveys
Show That Big Business Has a PR Problem," saying:

"More than ever, Americans do not trust business or the people who run it," according to pollsters,
researchers, and corporate bosses feeling the heat, yet "bent on destroying the environment, cooking
the books and lining their own pockets" ad infinitum in good and bad times.

Prior to public knowledge about Wall Street banksters, corporate scandals outing Enron, Worldcom, Tyco,
and other company executives fueled growing anger and distrust, management consultant
     Michael Hammer saying:

"There is a sense that business is a zero-sum game, that if companies are making a lot of money, it must
be coming out of someone else's pocket."

In Le Pere Goriot, Honone de Balzac (1799 - 1850) wrote:

"The secret of a great success for which you are at a loss to account is a crime that has never been
found out, because it was properly executed."

He meant behind every great fortune lies a crime, far greater today on a global scale, but just as harmful
     to those hurt.

In a Roper July/August 2005 poll, 72% of respondents said wrongdoing was widespread in industry,
only 2% feeling corporate bosses are "very trustworthy," 9% having full trust in financial institutions,
one executive saying the term "crooked CEO is redundant."

In a November 2005 Harris poll, 90% of respondents said corporations have too much influence in
Washington, 68% believed the media are too powerful, few expecting government to intervene and help.

In his April 26, 2010 Forbes.com article, Brian Moriarty headlined, "Why Everyone Distrusts Both
     Business and Government," saying:

"Since Gallup began measuring public trust in 1976, 19% of people polled have held a 'very high' or 'high'
opinion of the honesty and ethics of business executives. Public trust of congressmen has been even
feebler, averaging just 15%," an all-time low reached in 2008 at 12% for both, unsurprising in the
post-bubble economy, the 2009 Edelman Trust Barometer saying 84% of the public blames business,
81% government and regulators they appoint.

In their "Handbook of Organizational Performance: Behavior Analysis and Management," editors
    C. Merle Johnson, William K Redmon, and Thomas C. Mawhinney, included an "Ethics and Business"
section, explaining distrust toward business from antiquity. More recently in the 1950s and 60s:

"old horror stories about sweatshops and child labor were replaced by fear and anger toward the
'military-industrial complex.' In the 1980s, people (like anthropologist) Marvin Harris argued that
(oligopolies increasing bureaucracy), and a shift to a service-and-information economy were the
root causes of most of our social and personal problems." He omitted the financialization of America.
Even then, Wall Street bankers dominated, running the country by controlling its money.

In the 1980s and 90s, numerous scandals erupted, including savings and loan fraud, insider trading,
illicit deals with foreign governments, and public figures on the take. Although business and
government officials claim ethics standards, scant evidence shows they practice them, the public
finding out when corruption and other improprieties surface, reinforcing John Acton's maxim that:

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men,"
especially in business, government, and the military, environments fostering wrongdoing.

New People for the American Way (PFAW) Survey

    Conducted in June, it showed:

    -- deep dissatisfaction with the political system;

-- voters believing corporate influence on government policies is a "serious problem;"

-- support for a constitutional amendment limiting corporate influence (specifically, funding parties
and candidates to influence elections) "is broad and bipartisan;" and

-- Americans saying they'd vote for candidates endorsing this idea.

    Specifically:

-- 63% of voters feel "things in the country are (on) the wrong track;" only 20% expressed
    positive views;

    -- 85% said corporations have too much political influence;

    -- 93% believe ordinary people have too little or none;

    -- 92% feel corporate influence is a problem, 56% calling it serious;

-- Democrats and Republicans are part of the problem, not the solution, caring more about
     business than people;

    -- 95% said corporations spend money to buy influence;

    -- 93% want corporate spending limits imposed;

-- 93% believe unlimited corporate spending influences elections and infringes on the public's
    rights, drowned out by big money;

    -- most Americans feel corporate spending isn't free speech;

-- only one in four Americans knows about the Supreme Court's Citizens United v. Federal
    Election Commission (FEC) decision, permitting unlimited corporate political spending;

    -- when explained, 78% object, including the court equating spending with speech; it's not;
     it's bribery, influence buying, rigging the system to benefit them;

    -- nearly two-thirds reject the notion that corporations are people; they're not; they're businesses;
    the largest are giant ones in oligopoly and monopoly industries with interlocking directorates;

    -- about three-fourths feel unlimited corporate political spending harms the public interest;

-- 89% support legislation mandating greater corporate political spending disclosure, and want
     ads saying which corporations paid for them;

-- 62% believe greater disclosure isn't enough; and

-- 82% feel Congress isn't doing enough to curb corporate influence; Congress, in fact, curries it.

Transparency International (TI) 2009 Global Corruption Survey

TI calls itself a "global civil society organisation (sic) leading the fight against corruption....,"
its 2009 survey showing a "growing distrust of business," saying most respondents in 69 countries
believe corporations bribe public officials to buy influence, specific findings showing the following:

    -- private sector corruption is growing and worrisome;

    -- half of respondents would pay more to buy from a corruption-free company;

-- political parties and the civil service are perceived as the most corrupt globally, the term corrupt
     public official, in fact, redundant;

    -- in some countries, the judiciary was called most corrupt; also the police;

    -- developing nations fared worst, but none are corruption-free;

-- ordinary people aren't empowered to correct abuses; and

-- governments do little to correct them when public officials are beneficiaries.

Overall, the results show "a public sobered by a financial crisis precipitated by weak regulations and a
lack of corporate accountability." But people are also willing to actively support clean business.
"What is needed now is bold action by companies (to correct) their policies and practices, and to
report more transparently on finances and interactions with government."

Most important is public sentiment demanding responsible governance, not settling for ineffective,
corrupted, collaborating ones, the common practice globally only grassroots activism can change.

Infowars.com Poll: Majority Believe Road Warrior Depression Coming !!
  • from Prison Planet.com
    Kurt Nimmo
    Infowars.com
    July 20, 2010

An Infowars.com poll posted last week reveals that nearly 60% of respondents believe the United States is headed for a
“road warrior” economic depression. 17% believe the country is headed for a depression no worse than the
Great Depression, while 13% think the economic crisis will continue along its current trajectory and not get worse. 5% of
respondents believe the economy will turn around as Obama and the government promises.

Business Insider has posted 22 statistics with an accompanying image slideshow that reveals how the middle class is
being systematically wiped out of existence in America. In addition to wealth siphoned upward toward the coffers of the
elite — 66% of the income growth between 2001 and 2007 went to the top 1% of all Americans — the statistics point out
that 61% of Americans “always or usually” live paycheck to paycheck, up 49 percent in 2008 and 43 percent in 2007.
In addition to living hand-to-mouth, many Americans are approaching financial insolvency — over 1.4 million Americans
filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, which represented a 32 percent increase over 2008.

The government claims unemployment is at 9.5%. However, Raghavan Mayur, the president at TechnoMetrica Market
Intelligence, an outfit that follows unemployment data closely, points out how the unemployment rate is actually over 22%
and rapidly approaching the Great Depression level of 25%.

“In America today, the average time needed to find a job has risen to a record 35.2 weeks,” notes Business Insider. Jobs are
increasingly difficult to find because many jobs were offshored to China and the Asian slave labor gulag where workers earn
pennies on the dollar of their counterparts in the United States. “This is what American workers now must compete against:
in China a garment worker makes approximately 86 cents an hour and in Cambodia a garment worker makes approximately
22 cents an hour,” reports Business Insider.

Low paid jobs are now approaching 50% in the United States. “More than 40% of Americans who actually are employed are now
working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.” As a consequence, more and more Americans are becoming impoverished
and in need of government hand-outs. For the first time in U.S. history, more than 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the

U.S. Department of Agriculture projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011. In addition, approximately 21 percent
of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010, the highest rate in 20 years.
Unemployment hovering around 20% or higher is now considered the new normal. It has become perpetual, argues Giordano Bruno,
“and some economists are even suggesting that we accept it as a standard. The American public is now coming to realize that healthy
job creation is a very distant goal, one that the government alone has no ability to achieve, bailout or no bailout.”

Additional signs of distress include plunging U.S. home sales. Nearly 1 in 3 home sales are now foreclosures at rock bottom prices and
home foreclosures will likely reach more than 1 million by the end of the year. A crash of commercial real estate now threatening to
explode will and exacerbate the crisis Obama and the government insist is now on the mend.
Add to this a massive implosion of city and state debt and we are looking at a situation that will soon surpass the so-called Great
Depression. In California, the situation is so dire the state’s governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has slashed the hourly wage for state
workers to the minimum wage (about $455 a week), an act guaranteed to add millions of desperate people to welfare
    and food stamp rolls.

“But it just isn’t California that is in trouble,” explains the Economic Collapse blog. “Dozens of U.S. states are in such bad financial
shape that they are getting ready for their biggest budget cuts in decades. What do you think all of those budget cuts
    will do to the economy?”

Like the Great Depression, the Greatest Depression now being scientifically created has a specific agenda in mind — to crash the
global economy and rebuild it from the bottom up by the banksters who will institute a global central bank and a one world
government with an authoritarian control and police grid.

As Andrew Gavin Marshall noted last year, the coup de grâce will be the debt bubble, now ominously unfolding. “Loose credit,
easy spending and massive debt is what has led the world to the current economic crisis, spending is not the way out. The world
has been functioning on a debt based global economy. This debt based monetary system, controlled and operated by the global
central banking system, of which the apex is the Bank for International Settlements, is unsustainable. This is the real bubble, the
debt bubble. When it bursts, and it will burst, the world will enter into the Greatest Depression in world history.”

US boat to join Gaza flotilla !
  • from Ma'an News Agency
    ( UPDATED )25/07/2010 17:04

Bethlehem - Ma'an - A coalition of US organizations is raising funds to send an aid boat to break Israel’s four-year
     siege of Gaza.

In a statement on its website, the group said its boat would set sail in September or October as part of a flotilla of
ships from Europe, Canada, India, South Africa, and parts of the Middle East.

Israel’s raid on a Turkish Gaza-bound aid ship on 31 May sparked international condemnation after soldiers killed
nine passengers on board. Israel’s government refused Turkish demands for an apology, and ignored calls for an
international investigation into the incident, opting instead for an internal probe.

Two survivors of the raid on the Freedom Flotilla, author Iara Lee and retired colonel Ann Wright, have expressed
their support for the US aid mission, named The Audacity of Hope.

US professor Rashid Khalidi, who is supporting the initiative, commented that "Given the national-religious hierarchy
which determines what the IDF can do to whom, the fact that the ship is American will make it harder to deal with it as
the Mavi Marmara was dealt with."

Speaking to the Israeli daily Haaretz, Khalidi suggested that if the name of the boat, after the 2006 bestseller penned
by then-presidential candidate Barack Obama, was a problem for the US administration, ”it can simply insist publicly
    that Israel lift the siege.”

Commentators have seized on Khalidi’s association with the project, although he explained to Haaretz that while he
supports the endeavor he is not an organizer. During Obama’s election campaign, the president drew criticism for his
association with the Columbia professor, as US media reported Obama had attended a dinner in Khalidi’s honor
    several years earlier.

The campaign website lists a wide range of notable supporters, including Holocaust survivor Hedy Epstein, president
of the Center for Constitutional Rights Michael Ratner, and the parents of Rachel Corrie, a US citizen who was killed in
2003 when an Israeli military bulldozer ran her down in Gaza as she protested the demolition of a Palestinian house.
